The nature of life is evolution. While change is constant, our perception is slow to adapt. As humans develop, we become more complex. This development is inspired by connection. From the moment we were born, our connection to life, every interaction and experience, has informed our understanding of life itself. At some point in our mental development, generally around 7ish, our minds develop the ability to derive meaning from these connections. We essentially become meaning-making machines. This meaning-making leads to perspectives, then judgments, then behaviors, which become our personality.
